A numbers of rare waterbirds occur in Azerbaijan and World Red Data Book. Short characteristic of waterbirds and main Wetlands of Azerbaijan is given in this Book. Description of 12 species with World or Azerbaijan conservation status occur. Information about modern number, territorial distribution, existing threats and other features of these species help create united world system for restore and conservation of rare and threatened species of birds. That will help conservation of these birds in Azerbaijan too. The duty of somebody from us is to make contribution in conservation diversity and beauty of the Nature for future generations. All information about showed here species would be useful for their conservation.
