Sometimes, it is rather hard to obtain environmental laws or legal acts due to some technical problems. We believe that the availability and easy access to environmental legislations will be one of the most important steps in facilitation of implementation of environmental legislations in the Caucasus countries. The aim of CENN is to make environmental information in the Caucasus as much easily accessible for interested stakeholders as possible, therefore, CENN started to work on consolidation and systematization of environmental legislation of the Caucasus countries. Legal acts will be gradually translated into English and Russian and will be freely placed on CENN web page on national, English and Russian languages. The work in this direction has been recently started. Publication of environmental legislation of three Caucasus countries will facilitate easy access to all kind of environmental legislation, which will help increase of environmental awareness, citizens' accountability and development of sustainable principles and civic society in the region.
